Christopher Lynch

Licensed Public Insurance Adjuster


Chris began his career in construction over 37 years ago before he transitioned into Public Adjusting in 1990.  With his skills as a carpenter and general contractor, Chris founded Consumer Adjusters  in 2002 and now employs 5 full time adjusters.  Chris has worked in MA, CT, VT, NH, SC, FL, MI, LA, TX, Puerto Rico, St. Thomas , and St. John.  During the June 1st 2011 tornado, Chris and the entire Consumer Adjuster Company mobilized to help over 200 families navigate that crisis.  After the gas explosion in the fall of 2012, Chris worked with several Springfield businesses to recover from that disaster.  Chris sits on the Board of the Massachusetts Association of Public Insurance Adjusters and his client portfolio includes claims as large as $8 million. 


James Lessard

After serving in the Navy, Jim began his construction career in 1977.  After 20 years of experience in general contracting and construction related fields, Jim became a condominium property manager.  In 2003, Jim transitioned into Public Adjusting and has worked in both the commercial and residential claim areas in MA, FL, MI, and LA.  In the aftermath of the June 1st, 2011 tornado, Jim helped Consumer Adjusters assist over 200 families in the Pioneer Valley navigate that crisis.  After the gas explosion in the fall of 2012, Jim assisted several Springfield businesses recover from that disaster.  Jim’s client portfolio includes claims as large as $7 million.   

Eric Beauregard

Eric began his career in construction and helped many families and businesses after several hurricanes in Florida.  In 2004, Eric’s vast experience as an estimator led him to the public adjusting field where he has worked ever since.  He has processed both commercial and residential claims in MA, CT, Florida, Texas, and Louisiana.  In the aftermath of the June 1st, 2011 tornado, Eric helped Consumer Adjusters assist over 200 families in the Pioneer Valley to navigate that crisis.  After the gas explosion in the fall of 2012, Eric worked with several Springfield businesses to recover from that disaster.  His client portfolio includes businesses, residential, and multi-family dwellings.  He has handled a wide range of cases including claims as large as $7 million.  


Joe Bouchie

Licensed Public Insurance Adjuster


Joe’s father introduced him to the world of residential construction where he worked for over 7 years before graduating from the Rochester Institute of Technology in 1980.  Joe spent 19 years at Hasbro Games in Research and Development.   Using his construction experience and corporate knowledge, Joe began his career as a licensed public adjuster in 2011.  During the June 1st 2011 tornado, Joe helped Consumer Adjusters assist over 200 families navigate that crisis.  After the gas explosion in the fall of 2012, Joe worked with several Springfield businesses to recover from that disaster.  Joe has a long-time passion for soccer, he has been coaching soccer at various levels for the past 20 years. 

Tara Mathews

Senior Claims Assistant


Tara joined the Consumer Adjusters group as part of the Tornado Disaster Recovery team in 2011.  After assisting with over 200 families and businesses’ claims, Tara became our permanent Claims Assistant.  A 2008 graduate of UCONN, Tara’s communication skills and ability to organize any file made her a natural fit for Consumer’s client base.  As a life-long equestrian, Tara coached the Mt. Holyoke College High School and Middle School Riding Team for 5 seasons.  Recently, Tara competed in the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association National Finals in the Alumni Division and was named Reserve Champion. 

 Tara is now involved with preparing the personal property inventories and recoverable depreciation portions of the claims.  Tara is well versed in the Consumer Adjusters web-based claims program and is an integral part of the Marketing Team with a focus on bringing Consumers into the digital age.  She plans on getting her Public Adjusting License for both CT and MA.    

Nathan Lynch

Field Estimator


Nathan began his career with Consumer Adjusters as an intern in 2013 and is now the resident field estimator.  He graduated from Suffield High in 2010 and has assisted the adjusters as a technical advisor.  In addition to his hi-tech background, Nate is an experienced equine farrier.  Nate enjoys motocross and hockey as well as thoroughbred horses.
